Please note that Focus Project Management is not an accredited training organization but uses the services of other training providers to present the training course. To the best knowledge of Focus Project Management, these providers are accredited to carry out that specific course
The contents of course schedules are intended for general guidance only and do not form any part of a contract and Focus Project Management reserves the right to make any reasonable variations to the Public and In-house Courses (including the content of the courses) without notice.
Any typographical clerical or other error or omission in any sales literature, administrative documentation, Course Materials, invoice or other document or information issued by Focus Project Management shall be subject to correction without any liability on the part of Focus Project Management.
Unless otherwise indicated, all courses are delivered solely in the English language and all Delegates must be sufficiently proficient with the English language before attending a Public Course.
The price does not include any travel, accommodation or living expenses which the delegate may incur in attending the course unless specifically indicated
Prices quoted exclude VAT or other sales taxes which will be added at the current rate.
Where a Delegate is attending a Public Course in the UK, regardless of the Delegate's country of origin, the point of supply for VAT purposes is the location of the course.
Focus Project Management reserves the right to charge interest on late payments at 2.5% over bank base rate.
Focus Project Management will raise an invoice upon receipt of a Confirmation.
Focus Project Management and its training partners reserves the right to refuse admission to any person whom it considers in its absolute discretion to be unsuitable for admission onto the training premises or to remove any such person after the commencement of a Public Course.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Links to other website and services
The Site may contain links to other websites, which are not under our control. The links to other sites are offered for your convenience and Focus Project Management do not accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for enabling you to link to any other website, for the contents of any other website, for the security of any other website, or for any consequence of your acting upon the contents of such website.
Focus Project Management shall not be in breach of this contract if there is any total or partial failure of performance by it of its duties and obligations under this contract occasioned by any act of God, fire, act of government or state, war, civil commotion, insurrection, embargo, prevention from or hindrance from obtaining any raw materials or energy, sickness or other cause beyond its reasonable control.
If Focus Project Management is unable to perform its duties and obligations under this contract as a direct result of the effect of one or more of such causes that Focus Project Management shall give written notice to the Customer of such inability stating the cause in question. The operation of these Conditions shall be suspended during the period in which the cause continues to have effect.
Forthwith upon the cause ceasing to have effect Focus Project Management shall give written notice thereof to the Customer.
Focus reserve the right to assess the financial status of any organisation or individual making a booking, or in the process of making a booking and also reserve the right to require payment prior to confirming a booking
Booking Terms & Conditions
All bookings are provisional until full payment is received unless indicated otherwise.
For cancellations more than 15 working days before the course date, 80% of the course fees will be refunded. Cancellations within 15 working days before the course date, will be subject to a 100% charge
All course fees are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate
Substitutions and Transfers
Focus will make every effort to accept substitute delegates or transfers to alternative courses, but these must be made no later than 15 days before the course. However, all substitutions and transfers will be dependent on the availability of places with Focus accredited training partners
Focus Project Management reserve the right to cancel course if necessary, with full refund. In the case of a course cancellation, Focus Project Management will not be liable for any costs already incurred by the customer in planning to attend the course e.g. travel or accommodation costs
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, a working day is defined as Monday to Friday excluding Bank and other public holidays.
Course Availability and Location
The indication of Course Availability and location shown on the Focus website is for general guidance only and do not form any part of a contract. Please contact Focus Project Management before making any travel or accommodation arrangements to check the course availability and location, as Focus will not be liable for any action that you may take in reliance on the information.
A course booking may be rescheduled to a later date once only.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that they meet the prerequisites of the course(s) on which they are booked.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that they have read the course outline and satisfied themselves that they understand the course content and that it meets their requirements.
