From the M3 Southbound
Exit M3 at Junction 11 to Winchester (B3335). At the traffic lights turn left to Twyford/Bishops Waltham. Past Twyford turn left onto the B2177 to Bishops Waltham then follow signs to Wickham B2177. Pass through Waltham Chase and at the small cross roads turn left into Upper Church Road, signposted Shirrell Heath/Swanmore/New Place. After 400 yards you reach a junction and turn left. The entrance is on the left after 100 yards. From the M27 Portsmouth Exit M27 at Junction 10 signposted Alton (A32). Follow these signs until you reach the roundabout at Wickham. Turn left onto the B2177 singposted Bishops Waltham. After 2 miles turn right signposted Shirrell Heath/Swanmore/New Place. The entrance to New Place is 800 yards on the left. From the M27 Southampton Exit M27 at Junction 7 signposted Hedge End (A334). Follow signs to Botley. Drive through the town and follow signs to Wickham A334 for about 3 miles. At the T-junction turn left onto the B2177 signposted Bishops Waltham and immediately right signposted Shirrell Heath/Swanmore/New Place. The entrance to New Place is 800 yards on the left. Nearest Rail Station Southampton Parkway Station - one hour to London Waterloo. There is a taxi rank at the station. Nearest Airport Southampton Airport is 11 miles away. There is a taxi rank at the airport. |
