Directions:		HOW TO FIND US Exit M1 at junction 7 (M10) follow the M10 until it ends. Go over a dual carriageway (A414), follow this for approximately 1 mile, then take the first exit (sign-posted Shenley). At the end of the slip road turn Right towards Shenley (B5378). Follow local directions from here. Exit the A1 at the M25 junction ( South Mimms ) and follow the M25 towards Heathrow until Junction 22 (next junction). Follow B556 towards Radlett, at the third mini roundabout take the first exit (left) - B5378 sign-posted Shenley. Follow local directions from here. Exit M25 at junction 22. Local Directions Follow the B5378 towards Shenley, past Shenley Hospital on the right (it has a large tower in the grounds). Approaching Shenley Village , over the mini roundabout and take the next left into Rectory Lane at the Black Lion pub. Follow the road for about a quarter of a mile to a fork in the road and a small green. Follow the road to the left and about 100 yards on the right is the entrance to Shenley Hall.

Description:
Originally titled Shenley Hill House, there has been a mansion building on this site since the 14th century. Set in 16 acres of park and woodland the current mansion was designed by FT Baggallay and built in 1906. It was renamed Shenley Hall after a fire destroyed the original building. In 1914 the building was extended by one of Britain 's most celebrated architects Sir Edwin Lutyens, however the first World War cancelled completion of this work. Lutyens is best remembered for designing the Cenotaph in Whitehall . Further additions to the property were made during the 30's and the pseudo Georgian style East Wing was completely rebuilt in the mid-80's. Designated a Grade II List Building, Shenley Hall has also been extensively used as a film and television location for programmes such as the Avengersand the Saint. Approached by a large driveway, Shenley Hall offers a tranquil environment with plenty of parking and comfortable hospitality areas. The carefuly maintained grounds boast many fine trees, formal gardens, woodland area and cultivated lawns, as well as fountains, a rose garden and a charming lily pond full of carp
