The ISEB Foundation Certificate in IS Project
Management is aimed at those new to project

This certificate provides visible evidence that
the individual understands the basics of IT
Candidates who pass the foundation certificate
are able to demonstrate a good understanding
of the principles of project management
including planning, monitoring, control, change
control, configuration management, effort
estimation, quality, risk management and co0mmunication.

The course uses a detailed case study which
enables delegates to gain practical experience
of applying their knowledge.
The course is delivered in an entertaining and highly interactive manner with many real life
examples used to illustrate the subject.
There is a high degree of delegate participation,
examination preparation and practice.
There are no formal entry requirements for the
course or examination, but it is assumed that
all delegates will have a basic knowledge of IT.
This is a three-day course with an examination
on the afternoon of the third day.
The examination is a closed book, multiple
choice papers lasting one hour. There are forty
questions with a score of twenty six or more
needed to pass.
This course is accredited by the British
Computer Society, Information Systems
Examination Board (ISEB).
