Notes:

This five-day programme will provide participants with an in-depth knowledge of the use and techniques of the M_o_R® risk management method, as laid out in OGC’s guide ‘Management of Risk; Guidance for Practitioners’. This level is aimed to measure whether a participant understands how to apply M_o_R® across the organisation within a detailed knowledge and understanding of how this works within at least one specific level of the organisation (strategic, programme, project or operational). Participants will work through a case study illustrating the application of M_o_R® techniques, or participate in workshops covering the appropriate application of the techniques to real situations. Some evening preparation and consolidation work will be required of participants who wish to pass the M_o_R® exams, which also provides the potential opportunity to learn from informal discussion with other participants. All participants will receive joining instructions including suggestions for pre-course reading, the OGC’s guide ‘Management of Risk’ and printed course material. All rates include the cost of registration for the examinations and the residential price includes four nights dinner, bed and breakfast.
