This is an Association for Project Management Group (APMG) Accredited Course that covers the elements contained in the APMG Syllabus for the PRINCE2 Foundation Course. For those taking the exam we offer past-paper exercises. The PRINCE 2 Foundation Course is completed in the first three days of the course and Course Sponsors have the option of:

a. running the Foundation Exam itself at the end of Day Three or..
b. running a Mock Examination on the afternoon of Day 3 and giving delegates a further evening's consolidation before running the exam on the morning of the fourth day.
Evening work is required during the course (minimum 2 hours per evening)
As this is an intensive course, delegates should expect to be away from their work environment for the whole 3 days

The pass rate for this provider - over the past 8 years of PRINCE training  - is about 98%

To gain the most from the Foundation Course we recommend that delegates should have had prior experience or awareness of projects and the project management environment, though not necessarily as a project manager. Prior to Day One of the course Delegates should have completed their pre-course study pack. The course content and timing is based on the assumption that they will have done so.

Pre-Course Work

Prior to training, delegates will be issued with a pre-course Study pack including:

• Reading selected chapters from the PRINCE2 manual and answering some ‘quiz’ questions on this reading.
• Pre-reading a Case Study scenario
• Familiarisation with Past Foundation exam questions.

This pre-course preparation should take up to 15-20 hours over the previous 4 – 6 weeks.
