Notes:

What is Programme Management?

  • Programme Management provides an umbrella to bring together a portfolio of projects to manage their interdependencies and delivery. The MSP course is designed to give you the correct model and framework to implement a programme conferring the skills necessary to adapt given methods and to channel and control a series of projects towards a given goal. It helps to maintain focus, towards a given objective, at a strategic level allowing you to implement large changes whilst maintaining a firm control over the detailed implementation of each element of the programme.

Who is MSP designed for?

  • The adaptability of MSP makes it relevant for any programme managers and management staff proposing to implement a programme of any scale. It can also be relevant for project management staff.

Method

  • The course is a mixture of input and practical sessions, delivered by an APM Group approved trainer with practical experience of programme and project management. Practical sessions will be on an individual and team basis focusing on the Practitioner Examination on the final day. All Delegates receive a copy of OGC ’s "Managing Successful Programmes." Pre-course preparation material is provided to ensure all Delegates get the maximum benefit from the training event.
