Overview
The Project Management Professional (PMP) examination is the certification programme sponsored by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is based upon the PMI's Body of Knowledge (BoK)
This programme leads to an internationally recognised qualification.
This five day course has been designed to provide a complete understanding of the PMI approach to project management for those people who will apply it to their projects. In doing so participants will be prepared for the PMP examination which can be taken at a later date. This course covers the entire PMP syllabus.
This course will involve a significant amount of evening work to maximise the practical work and consolidate the principles covered during the day

Prerequisites
Delegates are assumed to have a basic knowledge of project management techniques and principles

This course prepares delegates for the PMI/PMP examination for Project Management Professionals.
Additional Notes
To attempt the PMP examination, participants must meet either of the following criteria
- Hold a baccalaureate or equivalent university degree and provide evidence of 4,500 hours of project work over the 3 - 6 years prior to this application
- Hold a high school diploma or secondary school qualification and provide evidence of 7,500 hours of project work over the 5 - 8 years prior to this application.
