Course description
This course will introduce attendees to a structured and consistent way of managing an organisations portfolio of projects and achieving business change.
There will be a series of exercises based on the case study that will also form the background to the Practitioners examination.
This course material is based around the OGC(Office of Government Commerce) manual: Managing Successful Programmes(MSP).

Pre-Requisites
No formal pre-requisites are required, but it is likely that attendees will have considerable management experience, probably in a project environment.
Delegates will learn to:
- Understand the benefits of Programme Management and how it can be introduced into new and mature organisations
- Know when to use programme management
- Understand the principles and processes of Programme Management
- Equip themselves to manage all aspects of the relationship between programmes and projects
