Notes:
Senior managers often have to make sense of vast amounts of information quickly and present it succinctly and clearly at board level. Speed reading is an essential skill, so are report writing and presentation techniques. This course builds on existing knowledge in these areas and provides an opportunity for delegates to take a step back and see the big picture more clearly. Participants will study how to select and present the right information in the right way, combining all these skills with some understanding of how and why people absorb new knowledge.

Performance Based Objectives

• Take a broad based view of the purpose of any given presentation/report
• Think outside the usual “way things are done around here”
• Cut through the detail and get to the real issues quickly
• Reach intelligent decisions about how much detail to include
• Review the work of reportees more efficiently and sensitively

Programme Developed For:

Senior managers who have to read and digest information in order to present it at Board level. They are likely to have been already attended speed reading, report writing and presentation programmes.
