Notes:
Typical Delegate Profile
Managers newly-appointed to project roles, or those wishing to gain formal qualifications after a couple of years of project management experience. The course would be of benefit to those with project support office or project assurance roles, team managers, Project Board members who wish to be hands-on, and team members aspiring to a more senior role.
Objectives
By the end of the course delegates will be able to:
- Understand the components and main processes of PRINCE2®
- Understand the processes of controlling a stage and managing product delivery
- Apply the product based planning technique
- Prepare for, and take, the PRINCE2® Foundation Certificate examination
Trainer Profile
Course trainers are provided by AFA, an accredited Prince2 training oganisation and approved by APMG, which administers PRINCE2® on behalf of OGC, and all have recent experience of project work. The use of hybrid trainer-managers is of great benefit to delegates, because the trainer fully appreciates the reality of using PRINCE2®.
Note
Residential attendance may be beneficial as some evening preparation and consolidation is required.
