PLANNING AND CONTROL PROCESSES

Many projects / programmes fail to realise the business benefits due to the
absence of robust underpinning planning & control processes. Providing proven and best practice
processes is essential for successful development, implementation and
integration of projects / programmes into the operation.

The course describes and applies the Association for Project Management Body of Knowledge across the entire range of feasibility, planning, control and completion processes.

ORGANISATION & PEOPLE DIMENSION

Managing the Organisation & People dimension is crucial to project / programme
success. Most Companies would correctly register that their people are their
greatest asset, yet fail to take cognisance of this important element throughout
the Project Lifecycle. Research indicates that projects / programmes
predominately fail due to inadequate consideration of the organisational and
people dimension. Project Managers are fundamentally change agents and
therefore need to be adept and highly skilled at managing this important asset.

The course outlines the leadership required to develop the team while skilfully
managing the Stakeholders and Organisation to optimise success.
