Project Sponsors, Project Managers, Team Leaders, people working towards or within a PRINCE2 project environment will benefit from attending this workshop.
 
Pre-requisites

Delegates are expected to have achieved the PRINCE2 Foundation certificate.

In exceptional circumstances where a delegate is able to demonstrate relevant experience and a foundation level of PRINCE2 knowledge they may be admitted to the course. These delegates will undertake the Foundation exam on the first day of the course.

Objectives
 
Attendance on this workshop will enable delegates to:
 
  • Develop their understanding of the PRINCE2 Components, Processes, Products and Techniques
  • Have the confidence and competence to practice the method in a live project environment
  • Comprehend the practical application issues in using and tailoring PRINCE2
  • Develop their skills to the level that enables success in the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination. 
Format

The course will be delivered using a mixture of trainer-led discussion using slides and sample exam questions as a vehicle for confirming understanding and practical application of the elements of the PRINCE2 method. The slides and discussion will be supplemented by exercises to consolidate the knowledge gained. On each evening there will be homework – delegates are asked to answer sample Practitioner questions (approx. 1 hour per evening minimum).
 
If there are any delegates who have not yet passed the Foundation exam, this will be taken at 4pm on the first day. The Practitioner Exam starts at 1pm on the third day.
 
Delegates will require a copy of the PRINCE2 manual which can be ordered when booking the course.
 
Pre-course Work

Delegates are required to complete the pre-course questionnaire provided, to ensure familiarity with the PRINCE2 Manual prior to attending the course.
