Introduction
This course provides the first step towards professional qualification in ITIL Service
Management and membership of the Institute of IT Service Management. An understanding of ITIL brings with it an industry wide harmonisation of terminology, and
approach, which is flexible enough to be adopted by all organisations irrespective of
sector or size. The aim of this course is to enable the delegate to learn the key processes within ITIL and the associated terminology in order to attain the ISEB foundation certificate in service
management. The guidelines produced by the OGC in their ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) publications have been adopted as best practice in service management by many of the worlds leading organisations.

Course content
The course is delivered in an entertaining and highly interactive manner with many real life examples used to illustrate the subject. There is a high degree of delegate participation, examination preparation and practice.
Pre-requisites
Although there are no formal requirements for this course a general appreciation of the IT services environment is an advantage.
Examinations
The ISEB foundation certificate examination is held on the last afternoon of the course. The examination lasts one hour and is a closed book multiple choice paper.
