PRINCE2 Practitioner is a 4-day non-residential course with nightly homework, which covers the OGC’s PRINCE2 Project Management methodology and syllabi for both PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner exams.
 
The optional exams can be taken during the course as follows: the 1-hour multiple choice Foundation paper on Thursday at the end of the course and the 3-hour open-book case study Practitioner Exam on Friday morning. You may defer taking the Practitioner exam for up to one month after your course, to give you time to consolidate what you have learnt during the week.
 
Course fee includes pre-course reading, official Prince2 reference manual, Foundation and Practitioner examination and registration fees - Total value over £250

Course Overview
The event covers the processes, components and techniques included in the PRINCE2 Project Management Method. The course prepares delegates for the Association of Project Management Group (APMG) exams (included in the course) and maximizes their prospect of being awarded the qualification of Registered PRINCE2 Practitioner.
 
By the end of the course delegates will be able to:
  • Understand the need for project management
  • Understand how PRINCE2 meets that requirement
  • Apply the PRINCE2 processes
  • Prepare project plans with product based techniques
  • Undertake risk analysis and management
  • Prepare a Project Initiation Document
  • Understand and apply techniques for the management of product development, quality control and change control

    Who should attend ?
    The event is recommended for practicing project managers who are responsible for managing projects using PRINCE2, or considering using PRINCE2 for their next project. Previous experience of PRINCE2 is not necessary.

    Course Details
    The five day Event is accredited by the APMG and presented by an APM Group Accredited Training Providers for Prince2
     
    Prerequisites
    There are no prerequisites other than a basic awareness of project work in the delegates own business environment
     
    Examinations
    The examinations consist of the Foundation examination, a 1-hour multiple-choice paper, and the 3-hour Practitioner examination which consists of 3 questions based on a case study
     
    Certification
    Delegates who pass the Practitioner examination are awarded the qualification of "Registered PRINCE2 Practitioner". The certificate is an internationally recognized qualification in PRINCE2.
