To give delegates an in depth knowledge of the use and techniques of the M_o_R risk management method, as laid out in OGCs guide Management of Risk; Guidance for Practitioners. An M_o_R Foundation exam pass is a prerequisite for attending this event.
The following modules are included:
Overview of M_o_R methodology
Exam and Case Study Briefing
Practical Exercises in Risk Analysis and Management
This event will benefit managers with full-time responsibilities for corporate governance or charged with enhancing an organisations risk management culture.
AFA trainers are approved by APMG, which administers M_o_R on behalf of OGC, and all have recent experience in management roles. The use of hybrid trainer-managers is of great benefit to delegates, because the trainer fully appreciates the reality of using a structured method. AFA represents the ATO (accredited training organisation) community on the M_o_R Exam Board.
This is a three-day event. Residential attendance is strongly advised as considerable evening preparation and consolidation work will be required of delegates who wish to pass the M_o_R exams.
The course fee includes:
Joining Instructions including suggestions for pre-course reading
Printed course material
