This five day course has been designed to provide a complete understanding of the PMI approach to project management for those people who will apply it to their projects. In doing so participants will be prepared for the PMP examination which can be taken at a later date. Delegates are assumed to have a basic knowledge of project management techniques and principles . Note that to attempt the PMP examination, participants must meet either of the following criteria: Hold a baccalaureate or equivalent university degree and provide evidence of 4,500 hours of project work over the 3 - 6 years prior to this application. Hold a high school diploma or secondary school qualification and provide evidence of 7,500 hours of project work over the 5 - 8 years prior to this application
