A Recognised Qualification
The ISEB's Foundation and Advanced Certificates in Programme and Project Support are professional qualifications that recognise the knowledge and skills of individuals working within a whole host of programme and project support office environments. They recognise the valuable contribution made by support staff within a successful project (and/ or programme) management environment.

Programme and Project Management methods.
Product and system development methods.
Support tools.
Dealing with non-programme and non-project work.
Dealing with difficult situations.
The Business Case (advanced level techniques).
Marketing the PSO.
Designing and installing the Programme and Project Support Office.
Keeping the PSO current.
Course Objectives
To enable those responsible for establishing, managing or working within a programme or project support office to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively fulfil their role.
To prepare delegates for the ISEB Programme and Project Support Advanced Certificate examinations.
What skills will the delegate gain?
This course will enable delegates to:
Holders of the ISEB Advanced Certificate in Programme and Project Support should have developed the knowledge and skills necessary to:
-Produce a terms of reference for a Programme/Project Support Office.
-Produce a Business Case for the Programme/Project Support Office.
-Design a Programme/Project Support infrastructure.
-Set up and staff a Programme/Project Support.
-Set up and maintain service level agreements for business level and project level services.
Who will the course benefit?
Attendance will be of particular benefit to individuals working in project and/or programme offices supporting the planning, monitoring and control of projects. It will also benefit individuals wishing to establish practical procedures to underpin the management of project undertakings by setting up a programme and/or project support office.
Prerequisites
Delegates wishing to pursue the Advanced Certificate must have achieved a pass in the Foundation Certificate.
Examinations
Advanced examinations are planned at dates stipulated by ISEB on the second Friday every quarter starting in February each year.

Delegates wishing to take the ISEB advanced examination should contact Focus to book on one of the ISEB scheduled examination dates.
Delegates may also wish to benefit by booking a revision day held the day before the advanced exam. This provides an intensive revision of the syllabus, examination technique, practice on sample questions, and discussion of model answers.
