Who will benefit?

This course is designed for:

a) delegates who have taken Amberwing's PRINCE2™ Foundation Plus course and now wish to take their Practitioner exam,

b) delegates who have taken Foundation training with other providers and who now wish to upgrade to Practitioner status,

c) delegates who need to re-take their Practitioner exam - and again Amberwing welcomes those who have studied with other training providers,

d) delegates who wish to take their Registered Practitioner or Re-Registration examination.

Course Objectives:

To take people from Foundation to Practitioner status, from Practitioner to Registered Practitioner status or to gain Re-Registration status.

Course Content:

This training provider recommends that the pre-course self-study should be undertaken by those who passed their Foundation exam more than three months ago, or who did so with another training provider or through non classroom based training.

All delegates will attend two classroom days. The first, known as the Exam Prep Day, will enable delegates to practice Practitioner type questions, with tutoring and guidance from our trainer. There will then be a revision period of at least one week before the third classroom day, known as the Exam Day. This third day will consist of a morning of further preparation, followed by your Practitioner examination during the afternoon.

If you are pursuing this course for Re-Registration purposes the exam may be taken in different ways. Therefore, the Exam Day may be optional

Pre-requisites:

You must have passed the Foundation examination.

When applicable, you must undertake a period of self-study using materials we send you two weeks prior to course commencement.

Ideally, you have used PRINCE2™ as part of your job since taking the Foundation course. You need to recognise that this is a fast-path approach. It will require you not just to attend the course, but also to undertake serious study in your own time. If you are uncertain about this please call us to discuss your options.

Course Style:

Your experienced trainer will work through PRINCE2™ and prepares delegates for their exam. The style is participative and interactive, with delegates encouraged to contribute fully through exercises and discussions.

Where Next?

After passing your Practitioner examination you may wish to implement PRINCE2™ into your place of work and/or progress towards becoming a PRINCE2™ Consultant.
