ISEB Practitioner - Software Test Analysis
Target Audience
Those who are or aim to be actively involved in the analysis of any aspect of software testing.
This is one of two advanced software testing courses and certifications. The alternative "Practitioner Certificate in Software Test Management" is more suited to those who specialise in the managerial aspects of testing.
Learning Objectives
Successful delegates will have gained a high level of competency in:
- Analysis of requirements
- Design of test cases
- Creation of test scripts
Pre-Requisites
ISEB Intermediate Certificate in Software Testing (obtained within previous 2 years)
ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing
It is recommended that delegates have at least 18 months experience in software testing.

Examinations
The course prepares delegates for the ISEB Practitioner Certificate in Test Analysis
The exam is a two hour, closed book, written examination, with a choice of four out of six questions. It is taken separately from the course on dates scheduled by the ISEB.
