ISEB Programme & Project Support - Advanced

Staff working in project and/or programme offices supporting the planning, monitoring and control of IT and IS projects.

Those wishing to establish practical procedures to underpin the management of project undertakings by setting up a programme and/or project support office.

Those looking to apply best practice project management methodology in an IT environment (the training draws on PRINCE2 and MSP although no knowledge of either is assumed). 

This course builds on the base level skills from the Programme & Project Support Essentials course.

To enable those responsible for establishing, managing or working within a programme or project support office to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively fulfil their role.

To prepare delegates for the ISEB Programme and Project Support Advanced Certificate examinations.

Delegates wishing to pursue the Advanced Certificate must have achieved a pass in the Foundation Certificate (Programme and Project Support Essentials).

Advanced examinations are planned at dates stipulated by ISEB on the second Friday every quarter starting in February each year. The exam is divided into 2 parts; candidates must score over 50% overall, and are then required to attend an oral exam which lasts up to 45 minutes.

The exam does not form part of this course.
