ITIL Practitioner - Release Management

Target Audience

IT managers and staff looking to apply professional methodology to the technical and non-technical aspects of changes to IT services ensuring that all aspects of a release are considered together.

Effective Release Management will ensure all legal and contractual obligations of hardware and software in the organisation are met.

Pre-Requisites

To be entered for the Practitioner’s examination leading to the certificate, you must be able to demonstrate at least one year’s experience of Release Management processes and hold the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.

Examinations

The ISEB Practitioner Certificate in Release Management  examination consists of a closed-book, one hour, case study based, 25 questions multiple-choice paper. This is taken at the end of the course and accounts for 50% of the overall marks. The remaining 50% is derived from a 75 minute in course assignment.  To qualify for the certificate, candidates are required to achieve 50% in each assessment with an overall combined total of 65%.
