Course: ISEB Practitioner - Software Test Management
Course Summary
This is one of two advanced ISEB software testing courses and certifications. The alternative "Practitioner Certificate in Software Test Analysis" is more suited to those who specialise in the technical analysis of software testing.
The course is for those who are or aim to be actively involved in the management of any aspect of software testing.
Successful delegates will have gain a high level of competency in the skills, tools and techniques required to manage the test effort successfully.
Prerequisites:
- ISEB Intermediate Certificate in Software Testing (obtained within previous 2 years)
- ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing
It is recommended that delegates have at least 18 months experience in software testing.
Course Outline
The course comprises:
- A training inputs of 3 days
- A revision day typically within 2 weeks of the exam - ASK for dates
- The ISEB Practitioner Certificate in Test Analysis (dates scheduled by ISEB)
The course prepares delegates for the ISEB Practitioner Certificate in Software Test Management
The exam is a two hour, closed book, written examination, with a choice of four out of six questions. The time allowed is 2 hours, and the pass mark is 60% (distinction 80%).
It is taken separately from the course on dates scheduled by the ISEB.
