This 1 day public or single organisation course gives an introduction to ITIL® version 3 best practice and how it differs from ITIL Version 2 guidelines. This course is only intended for existing holders of ITIL Foundation Certificates from earlier ITIL versions.
The ITIL® Foundation v3 Bridging course highlights the new topics in ITIL version 3 and the main differences from earlier ITIL® versions.

Topics covered will include:
Overview of ITIL v3, and its key concepts and value proposition
Overview of the Service Lifecycle approach
Description of key points within the 5 stages in the lifecycle:
- Service Strategy
- Service Design
- Service Transition
- Service Operation
- Continual Service Improvement
The primary focus will be on new and changed concepts, new definitions and terminology and key interfaces.
Brief outline of the proposed exam formats for further study
The Exam
The course has a 30 minute, 20 question multiple choice exam. The pass mark is 13 out of 20 (65%)
