Course: PRINCE2 Conversion - 2 Days
Course Summary
Course Outline
This course starts where the Foundation course finishes. The course builds on the delegate’s knowledge of PRINCE2™ and focuses on how PRINCE2™ is applied, which is being examined in the Practitioner paper. During the first day, time will be given to addressing examination technique and the best approach to the paper.
Any project manager, senior manager or project staff who have already passed the PRINCE2™ Foundation exam, within the past 2 years, and wish to progress to the Practitioner qualification level.
The Practitioner examination is based around a scenario, with 3 questions addressing how PRINCE2™ can be applied to the scenario. Each of the 3 questions is worth 50 marks and an overall score of 75 out of a possible 150 marks is required to pass. You will have three hours in which to answer the questions, with 10 minutes reading time at the start of the examination to become familiar with the scenario. It is an open-book examination so manual and notes can be used.
Day 1 - Exam Practice
The whole of day two is spent preparing for the Practitioner Exam by practising papers and working through a number of sample scenarios that are illustrative of the type of scenarios and questions that are on the real Practitioner paper.
Day 2 - Examination and Debrief
The morning is used to complete the sample scenarios in final preparation for the Practitioner Exam. The formal examination will commence after lunch.
