Course Objectives

To provide delegates with a complete and practical understanding of the PRINCE2™ project management method. To prepare delegates for both the Foundation and Practitioner Certificate examinations in PRINCE2™.
 
What skills will the delegate gain?

This course will enable delegates to:
  • Understand the need for project management and how PRINCE2™ meets that requirement.
  • Understand the PRINCE2™ process model.
  • Apply the PRINCE2™ processes.
  • Prepare project plans using product based planning techniques.

Who will the course benefit?

Staff who will undertake a PRINCE® role in a project, in particular Project Managers, Team Managers/Leaders, Project Assurance or Project Support roles. This course is also suitable for those who wish to undertake the examinations in PRINCE2™ administered by the APMG.
 
Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites other than a basic awareness of project work in the delegates own business environment.
 
Examinations

The examination scheme is administered by the Association for Project Management Group Ltd. The examinations consist of the Foundation examination, which is a one-hour, 75 questions, multi-choice paper and the Practitioners examination, which consists of three questions, based on a case study, lasting for three hours.

What's Included ?

Exam fees are included and a free copy of the PRINCE2™ manual published by TSO will be provided to all delegates (normal price £55.00).

For residential courses the course fee includes the above and also 4 nights accommodation, breakfast, lunch and evening meal.
